Welcome to the Oregon Society of Health-System Pharmacists

OSHP is the state affiliate of the national professional organization, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. OSHP's members represent pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, and advocates in the pharmacy industry who provide patient care services in hospitals, health-systems, and ambulatory clinics. For more than 60 years, our Society has been on the forefront of efforts to improve medication use and enhance patient safety.

Clinical Skills Competition

Our student chapters at Oregon State University and Pacific University participate annually in the ASHP Clinical Skills Competition, applying clinical knowledge and teamwork to complex patient cases. OSHP supports local winners in advancing to the national competition at the ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.

ASHP House of Delegates

Your colleagues are hard at work shaping the organization policies that drive the advocacy and educational efforts of the American Society of Health-system Pharmacists (ASHP).  Throughout the year, they provide feedback on new and updated policy proposals, adding the voice of Oregon pharmacists to the national discourse.

Fellow of OSHP

The OSHP Board of Directors is pleased to announce the call for nominations for the 2026 Fellowship in the Oregon Society Health-System Pharmacists (FOSHP) in now open.  This program recognizes OSHP members for their ongoing contributions to the organization and the advancement of our mission locally and nationally.  Nominate a deserving member by July 15, 2026 for consideration!
