Abstracts

Please join us for the 5th Northwestern States Residency Conference. The conference is designed for pharmacy residents and pharmacy preceptors. Residents have the opportunity to showcase their major projects in a podium style presentation (15 minutes, with 5 min of Q&A). The presentations are organized into subject tracks. 

Conference attendees will have opportunities to receive teaching and training advice from locally and nationally recognized speakers. There will be keynote presentations on preceptor development for residents, preceptors-in-training, and preceptors. We are also exploring adding networking sessions.

Conference Date/Agenda -– Friday, May 21, 2021

• 7:30 am – 8:00 – OPTIONAL Virtual Registration and Help Desk for Attendees, Presenters, and Facilitators
• 8:00 –5:30 pm – Keynotes/Preceptor Development Sessions, Resident and Fellow Presentations, and Breaks

Virtual Platform
Attendees will have the ability to navigate between meeting presentation tracks on their own via breakout rooms once admitted to the Zoom meeting. Presenters and track facilitators will be emailed separate instructions for presentation by screen share via Zoom and will be offered two opportunities the week before the event for a tech check. Online attendance instructions and the final schedule with links will be emailed from [email protected] 48 hours before the event begins.

Continuing Education
The NWSRC Committee is exploring available state and ACPE approval options for obtaining CE for part or all of the conference sessions. Our ability to do so is dependent on certification rules and restrictions. Updates on CE approval status will be shared on this website and with registrants.

Resident Abstracts Submission Due 3/8/2021, Final Changes by 5/7/2021
Click HERE for more details on how to submit your Abstract online. Abstracts are not required to have final results prior to submission. Abstracts as received by 5/7 will be posted to the conference website for attendee viewing. Residents may continue to resubmit updated abstracts through 6/11 for final publication in Pacific University’s Common Knowledge.
