Oregon Society of Health-System Pharmacists
OSHP is the state affiliate of the national professional organization, American Society of Health-System Pharmacists. OSHP's nearly 800 members represent pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy students, and advocates in the pharmacy industry who provide patient care services in hospitals, health-systems, and ambulatory clinics. For more than 60 years, our Society has been on the forefront of efforts to improve mediation use and enhance patient safety.
Your ASHP house of delegates representatives (Kristy Butler Kristina.Butler@providence.org , Michelle Murray email@example.com and Deanna Moretz Deanna.Moretz@providence.org ) would like to request your feedback and comments on the proposed ASHP policies (see link below). Your representatives will be attending the ASHP summer meeting in early June and participating in the editing and approval of these policies that came out of ASHP Councils (Council on Public Policy, Council on Therapeutics, Council on Education and Workforce Development, Council on Pharmacy Management, Council on Pharmacy Practice). There is also a new ASHP Statement on the Role of Pharmacists in Informatics that will be reviewed and voted on. You can also comment on these policies on ASHP Connect under House of Delegates.

The Benefits of Membership
We’ve said it before but we can’t help but say it again. OSHP can provide leadership, education, and services; but there is a greater influence in numbers. The Society needs your ideas and energy for the growth and development of our profession. Together we will advance our professional practice. Together we can make things happen.
